Posted by C at 8:21pm Apr 9 '13For me, USB 3.0 flash drives are not that great of an improvement over 2.0 unless you have a 3.0 port. However, it's only an improvement on read speed. Also, I noticed that smaller capacity drives seem to write data faster. I have a few 4gb flash drives that write data faster than the 16gb flash drives I have. I should test benchmarks, but the built-in graphs in Windows 8, show me roughly that my 8gb is almost 70% faster at write speeds. All of them are SanDisk Cruzers.
