On the cusp of bad news out of the SCOTUS today, good news out of the U.S. House of Representatives -- the House (including, in a rare showing of bi-partisan cooperation, 17 Democrats) voted to find US AG Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for his refusal to cooperate with a Congressional investigation into Fast & Furious, the gun-running scandal in which the BATFE deliberately allowed more than 2500 guns to walk across the border into Mexico -- and then lost them, since they have absolutely no means to track weapons outside of US borders!

Documents already revealed show some level of complicity between the DoJ and the ATF in planning and executing this operation (with some additional questions raised about possible FBI involvement), but Holder has stonewalled Congress as they probed the aftermath of a disastrous operation that directly resulted in the murders of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and ICE Agent Jaime Zapata, as well as the countless murders of Mexican citizens and contributed to the violent chaos of the Mexican drug cartels just south of the border.
