"The problem is that we can already see today that your version of reality, well, isn't."

Did you even follow my link? Do you think there is an industry term for a phenomenon that never actually happens? That's an interesting position to take. *sigh* .. it's frustrating talking to libertarians sometimes because you fundamentally don't see the problem. You think every problem is a nail, so you always reach for your hammer.

Take a hypothetical situation. I'm Apple. I want to sell iPhones--that's my business. You might think the more iPhones I sell, the more money I make, right? Wrong. In this parallel universe, there are A-type people and B-type people. If I can identify B-type people as they enter my Apple stores and kick their asses out before they can so much as look at an iPhone, I make more money. I don't want to sell the most iPhones. I just want to sell to A-types. The better I am at kicking out B-types, the more money I make--I can even sell iPhones more cheaply to the A-types this way! I can even add new features to the iPhones and keep prices low by restricting my sales to A-types only!

Fucking weird-ass situation, huh? But goddamn if the A-types don't love it...and my investors love it...and I love it. The B-types fucking hate it though, but who gives a damn about them. Not me. Unlike representative governments which ostensibly care about the well-being of all, I don't have an obligation to care about them. I'm just here to make the most money.
