What pisses me off is when they treat attractive women better than they do ugly women!
For example, I went to my local cell phone retailer to complain about my phone. I was wearing jeans, an ill fitted t-shirt, my hair was in a pony tail, and I wasn't wearing makeup.
I had had my phone for less than 3 weeks when the screen went bad on me and I couldn't see anything other than an orange blob. The man at the counter spoke on the phone for 10 minutes while looking at me before he would help me. I explained the situation, and he told me that it was my fault. I must have dropped it.(I didn't.) If this ever happened again it would be 100 dollars. They were out of my phone, so they would have to order a replacement. He made sure to emphasise that I was lucky he was helping me at all.
Two weeks later;
I had a job interview, so I was dolled up. Heels, cute skirt, fitted top, make up and hair done. I realized that it had been the allotted time for my phone to come in, so I went to pick it up.
Upon my arrival, 2 men promptly ended their phone conversations and were more than eager to help me. One of these men was the same one who had been so rude to me the previous visit. They were so accomodating, and they even transferred my contacts list out of my old phone and into the replacement free of charge. I could not have asked for better customer service. They were friendly, talkative, and very helpful.
Today I went to pick up two accessories for a camera. They are for my boyfriend's birthday, so I wasn't exactly sure what I needed. I asked the man at the counter. He was very helpful and didn't make me feel like an idiot for not knowing about photography. What I needed was $60.00! He dropped the price down to $39.99 and the other item i wanted was $25.00 and he dropped it to $15.00.
My mother has gone in this place before and they were short and snippy, and not helpful at all. I know she was wearing jeans and a tshirt when she went in. I was all dolled up today (ran out of clean jeans) and recieved excellent service and saved 30.00!
How can ya'll explain this?
