Well, looking like it will be, at least as far as its current form goes.
While the director of the agency refused to show up -- on the basis of the ridiculous assertion that Congress has no authority over his agency, a comment so arrogant and out-of-touch it only makes sense that it came from the TSA -- the Congressmen present were openly hostile to the agency, and floated suggestions from simply limiting the TSA to airports to gutting the agency to return (visible, anyway) airport security to pre-9/11 levels, with passengers pre-screened electronically behind the scenes (which still sounds suspiciously like the "no-fly list" to me, but at least it's progress).
