Posted by nibor at 7:08am Jun 30 '09yesterday I went to the orientation for my new job with a cleaning service. On the way there i had to use my last few dollars to put in the gas tank to make sure I could get there.
When I got to the orientation it took a long time for the boss man to get there but we all did all of our paperwork and stuff with his wife.
I had to use the bathroom so I had to go up to the first floor and when i got back on the elevator there he was the boss man.
When we both got down to the office and every one crowded in for this meeting he started with a prayer. He prayed for those less fortunate then himself and spoke about how some of those people may be with him today i slightly began to cry.
Then he asked those who could afford it to put two dollars in to a pile I could not afford to as there were also a few others who couldn't.
HE then said that this money plus what he was going to put in was for some one that god told him to help some one that god had put in his path and in his mind.
He asked who had not eaten the night before i didn't raise my hand though no one else did either, then he asked if any one had trouble getting there due to gas money I raised my hand, and began to cry more as he was talking the tears just kept going and would not stop.
HE then mentioned how some one had told him some thing in the interview that was inspiring even though they looked on the edge of no longer being inspired, he told about how god brought her to him one week early by accident just to keep her in his mind and how today he brought her to him on the elevator the first person he saw when he got there.
He called me to stand up front and gave me a hug as did all of the 23 other people there.
It was weird feeling such love such understanding from all of these people i had never really met.
Then he gave me the envelope he had put the money in and i set it aside feeling a bit embarrassed and not wanting to seem greedy by opening it right away.
After I left a few people offered me there numbers and said they may be able to help me out with some of my problems.
When I left i drove to the grocery store i knew I only had about 50 dollars in my account to use on food till the 8th. For 4 people this is not a lot then I thought about the money in the envelope the god send it was.
In there was enough for my grocery's and gas money till I get paid again for both eddie and I.
