I was seriously disappointed in the ending. Instead of answering questions, the writers went for a fuzzy-feel good metaphysical ending, complete with Magic Bullet, Warm and Fuzzy Filters on the flashes in the sideverse, because they had taken so many twists and turns there was no serious way to actually explain them. Along with the ending of Battlestar Galactica I hereby name a new category of lame endings, The Cosmic Punt, which is when all you can do is close with some vague eternal happily ever after that doesn't answer anything at all.
