Do they die just like that? I've never had one die before. One minute it was fine, then I plugged it into a different socket and it wouldn't work. The little green light doesn't come on.
How interchangeable are these things? To get a replacement, do I need the exact one or...?
Because the exact one I need is apparently rare, and I've seen it for like $110. I've seen other similar ones but not the same for more like $15.
