Boot Question

So I have Win7 installed on an SSD which is the boot drive. I've also hooked up a hard disk which used to be a WinXP boot drive, but now it's just another drive. If I were to switch it in BIOS so that the WinXP drive has boot priority, will it boot into WinXP, or will the computer asplode?
