My laptop's battery died yesterday. Like, went straight from still holding a charge great, to completely failed, not even registering to the computer as having any capacity whatsoever.

Already ordered the replacement from HP, but the damn thing costs nearly $75 (including shipping), and that's if I ship them the dead battery back after I get the new one, which after doing that will bump up the cost to just over!

And what's more frustrating is that this is literally 2-3 weeks after my 2-year warranty expired! Grrr!!! And it gave no warning signs whatsoever that it might soon fail!!!
