If anyone has been following the story I went out and got myself a Mac Mini last year and recently had a 22" monitor and a 19" monitor plugged into it.
Well last night I headed out to the shops to meet my friend who works at JB Hifi to purchase a 26" Teac Telly. I had decided on that as I would also be able to plug in my old XBox into it and it was only $300 instead of $800 for the monitor I actually wanted. Instead I ended up leaving with a Benq M2700HD for $300.
The Benq M2700HD may not have 2560x1440 resolution but it still looks good and it is certainly cheaper than the Dell U2711.
So my setup is now 27" monitor as the main screen and the 22" as the secondary. It is sexy-as.
