off the top of her head and doesn't have to so much as pause in her typing, that's the speed of a CPU register.

Not that that's really relevant to anything other than coding in raw assembly, of course, certainly not in your computer-buying decisions, but it's interesting.

Also, the 16-day round-trip is for a typical 7500 RPM hard drive; you can cut that down to 12 days by upgrading to a 10k RPM hard drive -- yeah we're really rockin' and rollin' now baby!!!
