Individually, we can be fairly intelligent, compassionate beings. But in a mob, we're worse than cattle.

There should definitely be riot cops on hand willing to beat people into submission. Tear gas those motherfuckers. Beanbag shotguns. Night sticks. Whatever it takes to cow those slavering fools.
