that based on the multidude of passages he has about compassion and about caring for children... and about not judging people... and about not being all pharacitical or pious about your bad habits of outrageous man-made rule-following when it comes to how you worship God...
that you could EASILY extract from this scenario that this would be strongly distasteful if not even argumentatively angering to him.
