Ran across this just now. The video starts with the scuffle already in progress, so we really don't have context, but the reaction of the police officer looks to me to be way over the top here. On the other hand, it was 2-on-1 (at least), and was getting physical. I don't really know what to make of this one yet. From the looks the bystanders, though, we may have more photos and video yet to surface on this incident, perhaps including the officer's own dash cam.
Link below, although headline seems deliberately misleading -- she wasn't punched for jaywalking, she was punched in the course of a scuffle with a police officer.
