My point is that the blue aliens are meant to be representative of indigenous people... or so is my understanding based on what I've read about the movie (I haven't seen it yet, so I wont' be able to get too involved in the debate). The racism comes in with the idea that these indigenous people need a white saviour. It wouldn't be so problematic if it wasn't a relatively common trope.
