Just had a coughing fit so bad that I threw up the dinner I'd just eaten. Never done that before. Never seen that before. Never even heard of that before.
For context, I'm getting over a really bad cold, or perhaps a relatively mild flu. I'm done with most of it, but have a pesky cough right now. This is the first time I've had a coughing fit anywhere near this bad, though, notwithstanding the throwing up.
