This film absolutely blew me away with it's on point human element. I was contemplating almost this same story for my first short story of advanced fiction writing...although I plan on telling it from the viewpoint of the girlfriend. My only complaint was that I would have liked to see her suffering but it wasn't her story being told.
I suppose I can still tell that story.
The movie is loosely based on Dostoevsky's White Nights. I also adore him.
5 stars from me...I know some of you won't like it but others will love it like I did.
