From midnight's lonely grasp
I wander forth...
deeper into the dark.
Tired yet sleepless,
brain dead but productive still.
Should I sleep...yes.
Will I...no not yet,
for something is stirring the calm waters.
No anchor will keep my ship placid...
not enough for me to explore the ocean floor.
Why does my muse strike so late...
is she sleepless like me?
So shall I forever fight her to my bed's callings.
