....in termites. The end of the article posits some reluctant speculation about a similar evolutionary path leading to altruism in humans, but the article is very explicit that this particular theory is narrowly applicable to termites.
Nonetheless, as we learn and understand more about even the lowly termite, more doors are opened into understanding our own origins.
