China, Middle East and Mexico.
I am really uncomfortable with the idea of visiting any 3rd world country, especially without a highly reccommended tour guide. I feel like the possible dangers, as I'm an American, far outweigh any curiousity I might have to visit other cultures within their original settings. It's just not worth the risk to me. I would like to be able to feel safe and visit places that are raw and beautiful and untampered by development, but only if I knew my safety wasn't an issue. At this time, I think it's a pretty big issue.
