A bit soon for that kind of prankery, I guess, but well played. The person who 'confirmed' those names should get a pretty serious disciplinary though. I can't really see how the station did anything wrong if they asked the NTSB to check the names for them.
Suing for that is just stupid and even in America I'd hope they would have no chance of success.
