I'm not right in there with the animal rights nutcases, but I think animals should only be used for things where there isn't a good alternative. Force-feeding an animal alcohol for a TV advert is not such a thing, it is exploitative and shouldn't have been done.

(That's all assuming that it is real, and making the advert did involve getting a chimp drunk and so on, obviously.)
