Making Home-made Tortilla Chips is Fun

I tried this for the first time over the weekend. I bought some bulk corn tortillas (it's like $2), cut them into 4 pieces each, heated up some oil in a skillet and fried those suckers until they looked done (then sprinkled with salt). I assumed it would be a massive fail, but it was actually really simple. The chips came out crispier than stuff you get out of a bag, but that's okay. They tasted exactly like chips I had in Mexico actually. Cheap to make, too.
