when I was a kid and my parents were Atheist we would do something for Christmas or Easter usually...
It did lead to a little confusion later though as I had some Jewish friends... questions I would get punished for asking like:
If we don't like Jesus, why do we celebrate Christmas over something like Hanukkah?
