Or is there actually a theory like that floating around the interwebz? Because, to me, this "Just World" theory sounds pretty much sounds like "karma" in the same life or "get what you give", etc. And you can't pigeon hole that to one political belief because too many people believe in it. Sounds like "The Secret", which was widely popular with conservatives and liberals alike. Well, more of your first paragraph than the last one.
